Whisper Grey 2027 Vantage with Suzuki 90

Adam walks a Whisper Grey Vantage with a Black Fly-style lean post up front and a Garmin package tied together wirelessly, bound for South Florida and the Keys.

This one will split its time between South Florida, the Keys, and the Big Bend. Whisper Grey on the hull and console, Matterhorn White on the deck, cockpit, and non-skid, with a black rub rail and white Simtex cushions. Snow Camo SeaDek runs the cockpit and carries onto the front hatch.

Power is a Suzuki 90 in white with a three-blade stainless prop on a Bob's 4-inch jackplate with the switch on the throttle, and Baystar hydraulic steering. The electronics are a full Garmin package: a Force Kraken on a starboard-nose Power Pux mount with a 36-volt off-board charger, linked wirelessly to a 15-inch Garmin 1543 touchscreen flush-mounted in the console, with a transom transducer. A Garmin VHF is mounted outside the console so the speaker can be heard while monitoring traffic, and a rapid wireless phone charger sits in the console face with no exposed connections to corrode. A white 6-foot Power-Pole on the port side, and a second powered trolling motor mount on the starboard side aft for days the owner wants to keep the bow clean. The jackplate is there for running shallow in the Big Bend.

The poling platform is the brushed Go Fast style with a folding backrest and front step, so it's there for comfort under way and kicks up out of the way to pass port to starboard without climbing onto the platform. Forward of the hatch, a removable Black Fly-style lean post on 6x6 plates set into the deck. It does two jobs: a seat to take the weight off your feet, and when you're standing and casting it folds all the way back into a traditional lean post that hits well above the belt line for stability in rough water. With the lean post off the boat, the Snow Camo SeaDek on the front hatch gives the angler a home base to center on, and stays grippy when the deck is wet. A flush jumpseat center console with a glove box, USB-A and USB-C in the glove, and a Starlink pre-wire run inside the console to an SAE plug. V-Marine spool rod racks and push pole clips, flush forward and fixed aft. Riding on an aluminum trailer.
