17 EVO X
Tunnel hull. Pure skinny.
Tunnel hull. Pure skinny.
The 17 EVO X applies a 2° X hull to the proven 17-foot platform. Optional Tunnel Package available for the absolute skinniest water. Built for the inches no one else can reach.
Every one is built to order in Longwood — one boat at a time, around the way you actually fish. Nothing on this page is a stock configuration.
Built for the water it was drawn for.
A 2° X hull is about as flat as a running surface gets. That's what buys you a 4"–7" draft — the inches where fish sit and most boats can't follow. You trade some ride comfort in a chop for access nothing else in the class has.
The numbers, straight.
Specs are for a standard build. Options, power and rigging change weight and draft — we'll give you the real numbers for your configuration.
What comes on it.
The package price includes the boat, engine, trailer and rigging — not a base number that doubles by the time you can launch.

Explore the 17s
Same family, different intent. The honest difference is hull and draft — the rest is how you fish.

Before you build one.
How shallow can the 17 EVO X actually run?
Draft runs 4"–7" depending on how she's loaded and rigged. Numbers on a page are one thing though — tell us the water you fish and we'll tell you honestly whether this is the right hull for it.
How is the 17 EVO X different from the 17 EVO V?
Same 17-foot platform. The 17 EVO X runs 2° deadrise with a 4"–7" draft; the 17 EVO V runs 14° with a 5.5"–7.5" draft. Deadrise is the real decision — flatter gets skinnier, more V rides better when it kicks up.
What power does it take?
60–90 HP. Every boat ships as a package — boat, engine, trailer and rigging, priced once and up front. Suzuki, Mercury and Yamaha are all on the table; we'll walk through what actually suits how you run.
How many people can I fish?
Rated capacity is 3. Fuel is 20 gal, which is what sets your real range on a long run.
What's standard, and what's extra?
The ready-to-fish package below is standard on every 17 EVO X — engine, trailer and rigging included. Everything past that (electronics, trolling motor, jack plate, livewell config, AwlGrip color, layout) is yours to choose in the builder.
