East Cape service and custom shop floor
Service & Custom Shop

Your boat doesn't age out of the family.

Owners run East Capes hard for a decade and longer. When a hull comes home, the same team that built it makes it look — and run — like it just left the floor.

The Full Restoration

Ten years of fishing. Gone in a shop visit.

That's what we call it in the shop, and it's exactly what it sounds like: your hull comes in worn from years of real use, and leaves compounded, polished, re-bedded and dialed — looking new. Gelcoat correction, hardware refresh, rigging cleanup, SeaDek renewal, the details that add up to a boat you're proud of again.

It's the single most popular thing we do for returning owners, because it costs a fraction of a new boat and gives you back the one you already love.

What we do

Refresh. Repower. Refit. Restore.

Every job runs through the same hands that build new East Capes — same materials, same standards, same one-at-a-time attention.

Refresh

Full Restoration

Gelcoat compound and polish, hardware and rub-rail refresh, SeaDek renewal, detail to delivery-day standard. The decade eraser.

Repower

New power, done right

Suzuki, Mercury or Yamaha — rigged, propped and sea-trialed by the people who know exactly how your hull should run.

Refit

Bring it current

Electronics upgrades, Power-Poles, trolling motors, jack plates, livewell and layout changes — your boat, evolved to how you fish now.

Restore

Full restorations

Older hulls brought all the way back — structural, cosmetic, mechanical. If it says East Cape on the side, we can make it new.

Any brand welcome

Not an East Cape yet?

Quality glass, rigging and finish work isn't limited to our own hulls. Bring it in and we'll tell you honestly what it needs.

Why it matters

The same hands that built it.

Service somewhere else means a tech guessing at how your boat went together. Service here means the crew that infused the hull, ran the rigging and sea-trialed it on delivery day. Nothing gets discovered — it's already known.

That's why East Capes hold their value, and why the ones you see on the water from 2008 still look like they mean it.

Warranty

Something not right? Show us.

If something on your boat isn't performing the way it left here, start it in writing. Give us the hull number and a few photos and the shop can tell you what we're looking at before you drive anywhere.

Every claim is read by the team that built the boat. You'll get a straight answer on what's covered, what isn't, and what happens next.

Hull number is on the starboard transom, upper corner — and on your MSO and registration.
