Skinny Water

Inches off the bottom.

Technical poling, sight-fishing, and flats work. The skiffs and tunnel hulls that get into water no one else can reach.

Skinny water is where East Cape was born. From the original Everglades Canoe Company in 2004, we've been building boats designed to disappear into shallow water. Quiet, light, and tuned for the inches that matter.

Why East Cape

Built for skinny water.

01

Built for the inches that matter

Every East Cape skiff is tuned for shallow-water performance. The hulls are designed to float, run, and pole quietly in water other boats wake up.

02

Tunnel hulls available

X-models use a near-flat tunnel hull that lets the prop run in 3-4 inches of water. Reach the back bays no V-hull can touch.

03

Quiet on the pole

East Cape's hull geometry is tuned for stealth, not just stats. Glide into casting range before the fish know you're there.

04

Personalized for your fishery

Tell us where you fish. We build the boat around that — layout, power, electronics, even SeaDek pattern.

the 25 Open and the 25 Hybrid do not run skinny water. They are big-water platforms, and we would rather say so here than after you take delivery.
